Asbury Park Artist Howard Schoor today announced the addition of 44 new paintings to his vast body of Trianglist artwork. The “Little Gems” series offers small format original paintings, ranging in sizes 5” x 5” to 16” x 12”, as an adjunct to Schoor’s larger pieces. Priced $150 to $250, the Little Gems were created with new and budding art collectors in mind.
“I wanted to make my ‘happy art,’ and art in general, more accessible to more people,” Schoor explained. “I’m hoping to help folks—millennials especially—who have never owned a piece of art, build their personal collections. Starting their collecting journey with a piece of original art is far more satisfying than buying a painting sourced from a big box mall or gallery store.”
An artist and creator for more than three decades, 80-year-old Schoor began seriously marketing his art just over two years ago. Since then, he has built a substantial brand and is steadily carving out a niche for his art and his inspiring story. “I feel good when I’m creating,” he said. “I’m happiest when I’m surrounded by my art and I look at it every day. In sharing it through this new series, I’m hoping to bring that same happiness to others.”
